Claire would like to recognise the continuous and deep connection to country, of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the first peoples of this nation.
She acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of this land, its waters, and the sea and sky.
Claire pays tribute to the Elders past, present and emerging and respects the collective ancestry that has brought her here to this present moment in time.
Claire feels it is a privilege to be teaching on country and hopes that her work in some way supports true custodianship of this land.
